The company runs a platform in the Build to Sell value-add business and has been acquiring and developing assets since 2013 through its brand Darya Homes. We invest our own capital and have created a number of joint venture vehicles with investment funds such as Eurazeo Patrimoine and Chenavari. This strategy has been deploying capital in top-tier cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Málaga, and prime touristic areas such as the Costa del Sol.
Flex Living: addressing a huge scarcity
In 2022 Dazia and Aermont Capital created a joint venture to invest in the nascent spanish flex living sector. The joint venture has created two vehicles to date, and is deploying eur 300 million in capital with the objective of building over 5000 apartments meeting top ESG and breeam standards. The main investment focus is the region of Madrid with a secondary focus in the rapidly growing cities of Valencia and Malaga. Dazia capital is the investment manager, partner and operator of the platform.
Catering to city centre rental demand
Dazia Capital is also active in the build-to-rent sector and in city centre serviced apartment rentals. In 2020, through its joint venture with Eurazeo Patrimoine, we successfully sold and delivered on a forward basis two build-to-rent buildings in central Madrid to Aberdeen Investment Managers. We have also built a number of city centre high-end serviced apartment buildings for our own account and operate them, as well as other buildings belonging to third parties, through our operating company Darya Living. Dazia has also built a purposely designed co-living residential building, best in its class, in central Madrid through its joint venture with Eurazeo.
