Daniel Mazin

CEO

Daniel counts on 30 years of experience. He co-founded Dazia Capital Real Estate in 2013 and as the CEO he is responsible for managing the company’s operations as well as strategy, new business generation, investment advisory and structuring.

Prior to Dazia, (1985 to 2000), Daniel held a position in Energy Investment and Trading at Glencore AG, and subsequently (2000 to 2014) led the Real Estate and Renewable Energy Area in his family office.

Daniel holds B.Sc. in Economics from London School of Economics.

Leticia Pérez

Leticia Pérez

Managing Director

With 18 years of experience, Leticia is responsible for managing the company’s investments from sourcing to execution and management.

Leticia joined Dazia from a private family office where she has been the Investments Manager since 2010. Prior to this, Leticia worked for Fortis Private Bank where she was Head of Management and National Real Estate Investment. She began her career in 1999 at Santander Central Hispano Activos Inmobiliarios.

Leticia holds a BA in Law from Autónoma University of Madrid and in 2007 she graduated from Polytechnic University of Madrid with a MA in Real Estate Business Management.

Juan Carlos Castiella

CFO

Juan Carlos has over 20 years of experience restructuring projects (M&A, project finance, leasing). His professional background includes the charge of Director of Energy at Foresta Capital, and Senior Consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Juan Carlos is responsible for the financial management of the company, support deal execution and financing.

Juan Carlos holds a B.Sc., M. Sc, in Mechanical Engineering from Navarra University, an MSc. Aeronautics from MIT and in 2014 he graduated from IESE Business School with an Advanced Manager Program.

Belén Grimau

Head of Commercial Department

Belén has more than 20 years experience in the real estate sector, in which she has worked on the management, coordination and marketing of around 50 real estate developments, advising clients such as Vallehermoso, Metrovacesa, Neinor Homes etc. Her professional backgound prior to joining Darya Homes includes 11 years as the Sales Manager of Residencial de Madrid at CBRE, as well as  6 years as the Delegate of Madrid in the Residential Area for BNP Paribas.

Samuel Martínez

Technical Management

Over his more than 15 years of experience, Samuel Martínez has earned a high degree of specialization in integral project management, contributing to develop technical tools and procedures specifically designed to establish and monitor key objectives, minimising risks and increasing opportunities for the project portfolio during its entire life cycle.

Prior to joining Dazia, Samuel was the manager of the delegated promotion section in Hill International, where he gained more than 12 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager, specializing in Real Estate Project Management and Project & Asset Management mainly in the residential area. He has participated in the direct management of projects with a total investment budget of €1.5 billion.

Samuel is a Technical Architect through the Polytechnic University of Madrid and Building Engineer through the European University of Madrid.

Blanca Melero

Promotion Manager

Blanca has a broad experience of over 25 years in the real estate sector, in which she has carried out the direction and management of residential real estate developments in Madrid, Malaga, Navarra and Barcelona.
She operates the comprehensive management of the company’s real estate developments, providing a global vision of the operations.
Before joining Dazia Capital, she was the Territorial Director of Madrid region at Habitat Inmobiliaria and held management positions at Metrovacesa, Inmoglaciar and Ferrovial Inmobiliaria, among others.
Blanca holds an MBA from ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas) as well as a Technical Architect Degree from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Alejo Molina

Real Estate Transactions Director

Alejo brings extensive knowledge and expertise of the Real Estate markets, and has a significant track record in transacting, managing and adding value to properties over 20 years.

Alejo occupied senior positions in Pramerica Real Estate Investors, the asset management arm [RS1] of Prudential Financial, since 1998 until 2013. He was responsible for the Spanish and Portuguese operations, with overall responsibility over deal sourcing, transactions and asset management.

He holds an MBA from IE Business School.

Andrés Molowny

Andrés Molowny

Real Estate Transactions

Andrés brings over 30 years of experience in the creation of new projects with a very extensive network of contacts throughout the Iberian Peninsula.

Andrés held senior positions in the Capital Markets department of JLL and Knight Frank, also he has broad experience in managing banking assets, portfolios, real estate developments for sale or renting.

He holds an MSI in Real Estate from Architects School in Madrid.

Borja Cifuentes

Senior Investment Analyst

Borja has 5 years of experience in the analysis and structuring of complex transactions in residential and commercial projects with special focus on financial modelling and monitoring the end-to-end life cycle of the assets.

Borja occupied junior positions in CBRE Global Investors as Investment Analyst for the European Shopping Center Fund and in Savills Aguirre Newman in the strategy and corporate finance consulting team.

Borja holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE-ICAI) and he is currently pursuing the CFA designation.

Alejandro Rodríguez

Alejandro Rodríguez

Senior Investment Analyst

As part of Dazia’s Investment team, Alejandro focuses his analysis on the Costa del Sol Real Estate market.

In his 8 years of experience before joining Dazia Capital, he worked at ASG as an Investment Analyst, where his focus was on Build-to-Rent and Build-to-Sale transactions. Prior to ASG, Alejandro worked at JLL as a Strategic Consultant.

Alejandro graduated from Architecture and completed his thesis at New School of Architecture and Design in California.

He also graduated from the Real Estate Executive Management Program at IE Business School and received RICS Training.
